HR Bot
A Slack and Discord bot that helps with onboarding and keeps managers aware of team sentiment.
Built with my team at ConUHacks VII for GSoft’s challenge on onboarding and employee wellbeing. The bot gathers the information new hires need in one place and automates repetitive onboarding tasks.
It also scores the sentiment of team messages with the Google Cloud Natural Language API and stores the results, so managers can see how engaged and satisfied their team feels.
What it does
- Works in both Slack and Discord
- Sentiment scoring of messages with Google Cloud Natural Language
- Commands for help, user info with GitHub details, sentiment checks and direct messages
- Messages and scores stored in SQLite behind a Flask app
